FAQ

Why use rendezvousprefecture.com?

Our families faced the difficulty of booking an appointment online with the prefecture of our city. Checking the prefecture's website to see if an appointment is available and booking it can be tedious, long, anxious, and stressful. That's why we offer assistance through our real-time notifications. We provide an alert that instantly informs you when an appointment becomes available.

Is prefecture appointment booking legal?

Using a paid service to receive alerts about the availability of appointments at the prefecture is completely legal. As you can see in the official decree of the DGCCFR (General Directorate for Competition, Consumer Affairs, and Fraud Control) available here

I subscribed to a service but haven't received any alerts yet

Rest assured, our servers constantly perform the verification on your behalf. Be patient. This means that no slot has been available on your prefecture's website since your subscription. On average, it takes about 12 days to receive a notification. Delays vary depending on procedures and prefectures. The availability of appointments is the responsibility of the prefecture.

What types of alerts are offered?

Email + SMS (optional)

What payment methods are available?

Credit card and other methods provided by Stripe

What information do I need to book an appointment?

Always have the following information nearby: name, first name, email address, date of birth, phone number, address, AGDREF number, expiration date, postal code, OFPRA number if you are an asylum seeker. The AGDREF number is a 10-digit number located on the right side of your residence permit. A simple Google Images search can help you visualize it.
